Serves 4 – We fed our family of 7 on this recipe by adding salad and bread to the meal.
Easy peasy and a kid pleaser… My 5 year old ate the leftovers for breakfast.
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 pound ground turkey
1 teaspoon fennel seed
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
¾ pound orecchiette or pasta shells
4 cups small broccoli florets (from one head)
1 cup Shredded Parmesan
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Stir in pasta and cook according to package label directions. In last 2 minutes of cooking time, stir in broccoli and continue to cook until pasta is al dente and broccoli is tender. Drain
2. Meanwhile, brown turkey in oil with garlic, fennel, and crushed red pepper in a large skillet; season with salt. Toss with pasta and broccoli, 2 tablespoons olive oil and shredded.
